Basic Vocabulary Zapotec
Marlett Stephen A.
Publisher: SIL International
Publication date: 2010
Number of pages: 66This document presents selected basic vocabulary items in different varieties of Zapotec.1 All of the data are presented in broad IPA transcription (see Transcription Conventions for details and see Data Sources for sources of data).2 All of the forms may be assumed to have penultimate stress on the root unless otherwise marked although with some sources it is hard to determine the facts about stress (if stress is relevant at all) and so stress may not be consistently represented. The numbers in the column headers are those used in the Intercontinental Dictionary Series.
